MTV Unplugged? Well, Almost… Empty We Unplugged. Tom Riepl teamed up with singer Salina Albert to record an acoustic album (EP). Styles on ‘Almost Empty We Unplugged’ include Folk, Country Rock, Americana and Blues, as well as the story of a man on the run, presumably from the law and on a horse... Percussions by Thomas ‘Mäx’ Köppl as well as a guest appearance by Max Niedermaier (Flute) make the whole thing complete.
Listener’s Comments:
Album sounds great! It’s a very 3D sound which I love, lots of depth for every voice involved, just great. Salina has a wonderful voice and really brings out the songs (…) I put it on my normal listening spot outside my studio and it sounded fantastic there as well!

I am blown away by the crisp, detail-oriented and playful attention applied to both the sides of this disk! I experienced a head-phone-like appreciation of the sonic placements of the voices and guitar. Whew...

Insanely good! I would consider this “audiophile”(…)
Very quiet, music comes out of the black, details clear, and one can hear deep into the recording. I could go on…
